The Motel
The 71-room Crown Motel is in the heart of quaint Kings Beach in North Lake Tahoe, central to restaurants, shops & walking trails. Our family-friendly property features a variety of room layouts and amenity options for every budget. Beach cruisers are available for rental for guests to comfortably explore the local area. Our Lakeview lounge features foosball, a Wii console as well as board games. Our heated lakefront pool & hot tub offer stunning views of the lake. The Crown Deck is outfitted with BBQs, patio furniture, fire pits, and other outdoor amenities.
The Beach
Boasting one of the largest private, sandy beaches on Lake Tahoe, The Crown offers a variety of seasonal water amenities for guests to enjoy. Kayaks and paddleboards are available for rental in addition to a selection of water toys. Relax in lounge chairs or get wild in a game of sand bocce.
*Due to the record-breaking winter from the season of 22/23, the beach is currently very minimal, because of the high water level. We are just steps away from the public, Kings Beach, for more space.
